Become A Foster

Foster families expand A Little TLC’s ability to care for more animals by giving pets a warm and loving environment to grow, heal, and adapt to their new lifestyle. The more fosters we have, the more cats A Little TLC can save.

Fostering can be a wonderful experience for you and your family. You will make a positive difference in an animal’s life. Fostering also provides the individual attention that each cat needs.

Foster commitments range from two weeks to several months, so you can select fostering options that fit your lifestyle. The sooner your foster animal is adopted, the sooner you can (hopefully) bring a new foster pet into your home.

Foster families should be compassionate, open minded, caring, and patient. You will be informed of your foster animal’s known medical history and behavioral health before they are placed in your care. Our foster coordinator will help answer any questions and provide resources if necessary.

A Little TLC will provide the items you need to get started. This may include: carriers, crates, food, medication, litter and litter boxes, puppy pads, bowls, etc. All items are donation-based, so if you would like to provide supplies for your foster animal we would be extremely grateful!
